And the way our normal routine works is every other week we have a different type of

episode so we have our update episodes one week which is where we get to talk about what's

going on in the reselling world in general what we're doing reselling wise and then the

following week which is now we do our themed episodes so we get to talk about something a

little bit more specific so it might be things like taxes or bookkeeping or shipping or something to do with a new platform

but today we're talking about probably our favorite thing in the entire world well when it comes

to reselling at least and that is garage sales.

We are doing our garage sale episode.

And for those of you who are new to reselling, this is going to be a great place to start.

And the reality is like, this is the one thing that Mike from like day one have talked about.

I would say in our first episode, we talk about garage sales. and it's been a constant theme. And listen, I always get the people that are like, oh, you guys talk about the same stuff over and over again. Listen, but well, there's only so many ways to do this kind of reselling, but there's always new insights that you can gain, right? And there's always stuff I'm learning as I go to garage sales.

And we have a lot of new listeners that come on the podcast and they're worried about garage sales. A lot of people just do the thrift store thing, which, you know, Mike, would you agree? Thrift stores are just brutal. Like it's our experience. Yeah. Yeah. There's pros and cons to everything. like one of the pros to thrift stores is you've got, you know, a wider amount of time. There's a bigger time window throughout the week and throughout a day that you can go. So if you're just trying to get your feet wet and get your eyes on products and practice scanning items and seeing what things are worth on looking up comps, there's still some benefits there. And you can certainly find good items depending on if you have some local thrift stores that are a good honeyhole for you.

But nothing is going to be garage sales when it just comes to the consistent ROI that you can

gain on a regular basis.
