Well, it's sort of related to our poll because initially we had like a thread of people suggesting episodes that will probably all be done. Also, we kind of made note of them all. So don't fear.

And one of our listeners on our page, her name is jet.

Oh yeah. Of course. I know. Jets. She suggested somebody named Rebecca Schaefer.

And she mentioned that July 18th was the anniversary of her murder, which is this week coming up. I think it will be the 29th anniversary. So not like an exactly exciting.

It's not like a 30. But still, you know, me, I like those anniversary dates. Right. So that's what we're going to talk about today. Okay.

If you don't know who Rebecca Schaefer is, she was a young actress who was fatally shot in the doorway of her West Hollywood apartment on July 18th,

1989 by a man named Robert John Bardow. And Bardow was obsessed with her and had been stalking her for three years at that point.

The crime was a major new story all over the country. Obviously, even though she wasn't super famous, she was definitely like an up and commer.
