1:10.9	I just think it's a really interesting topic and I wanted to learn a bit more about it for myself.
1:16.0	So today we're going to talk about video game horror movies.
1:20.0	Yeah, it's going to be kind of an interesting multimedia topic because they are two very different beasts in many ways as I'm sure we're going to get into.
1:30.0	Personally, I think I'd call myself a gamer, I'd call myself a casual gamer. I came into it at about the 8-bit Nintendo era,
1:39.4	and my sister would play Mario Brothers, and I would sit, and I would watch her for hours and it would almost be like we were playing it together even though we weren't.
1:49.0	Like if she felt like playing she'd be like where's Andrea to come and sit and watch me and then when she moved out I was like
1:55.0	oh I can't watch Lisa play anymore so I started playing and I got amazing at it way better than she ever was
2:02.2	she'd come back for the holidays and see me play and be like, holy shit.
2:06.5	And I stuck with it. The irony is that when it comes to these particular games, they're a bit of a blind spot because they were
2:13.8	PlayStation titles that dabbled in Nintendo a little bit later down the line but I
2:19.2	became an Xbox girl when that stuff came out so I didn't actually play these as a kid.

2:30.4	similar to Andrea I have a much older brother and when he was living with us when he was I guess kind of in his late 20s and I was still like a kid he would play and I was just fascinated by these games and I just wanted to do whatever Giles did so he

2:48.2	ones for me were Legend of Zelda a link to the past, and Donkey Kong, that kind of weird, almost 3D one.
