Didn't do anything against Dallas Keikle until, you know, the sixth inning, and even then, didn't really break through. Then they come out today. They hit a billion home runs. They score 14 runs. Nelson Cruz, well, first of all, Jake Cave hits a grand slam. Yes. This is pretty great. Yes. To sort of break it open right away. And then Nelson Cruz hits two homers and two doubles. He's got 10 RBIs through three games. Three homers and 10 RBIs through 3 games.

And here I was worried that at 40, could he still do it?

Right.

Turns out he's better than he was.

And I looked this up before I left to come over here.

So they took 2 out of 3 from Cleveland at Target Field to start last season.

Right.

So they also started 2 in 1 last season. Yeah, they had the home opener win with Burrios on the mouth. Then they lost two to one the second game. And that game made me crabby too because that was the one where Kepler didn't get, didn't pitch it. Didn't get pinch hit four. Yeah. Yeah. For Estadillo versus the lefty in the ninth inning, and I was all upset about that.

I remember.

I remember being all crabby about that one, second one.

The first loss of the season makes me crabby. See, people perceive me as being the crabby one, but I like to maintain a constant level of crabbiness, no matter what's going on around me. Whereas John Ebson flows. but so through three games last year in their two-and-one start, they only hit one homer.

Really?

And they only scored 12 runs in three games.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, right.

So this time around, they have seven homers, and they've scored 27 runs in two seven innings.

Despite the fact that the middle game of those three games was perceived as them getting completely shut down by a pitcher.
