This week we'll start off the podcast a little bit different due to the circumstances that, you know, the hip-hop community and the black community have gone through.

Obviously, if you're familiar with the podcast, we are super lighthearted, super informative, super funny.

You know, we try and switch up the tone and the mood, but right now it's kind of hard to do that when we're all collectively going through something so disheartening, so discouraging at the same time. I'll start off by saying that I was on the West Coast on my way from LA to Oakland when I found out the news of

Nipsey Hustle being killed in front of his own store. And I didn't know Nipsey Hustle

personally. I didn't really listen to his music as much as I probably should have. Now,

looking back, I regret it like many of us do, right? But I probably should have. Now looking back, I regret it.

Like many of us do, right?

Yeah. But I did keep up with Nipsey Hustle, the man.

And that's where we want to start off with this podcast by saying,

rest in peace, Nipsey Hustle.

We send our prayers and our condolences to him his family his children the people he

employed um the people that he looked after the people he inspired the community that he lived

and died for unfortunately you know so that is the tone that we kind of want to set that is where we

want to start with this podcast again we appreciate all our supporters all our listeners

um it's been tough for everybody over these last few days but we would not be doing uh we would

be doing a disservice to our listeners and the people who support us

if we didn't begin this podcast by saying rest in peace, nifty hustle. We thank you. I personally

feel like I should be saying sorry even though, you know, it's out of my hands. Yeah. I wasn't

there. You know, none of us was there.

But I do feel like as a black man, somebody who's in the hip hop community, somebody who's

in this culture, a part of this culture, it's tough.

It was tough.
