Summary

Johnny and Gav have almighty day ahead of them. Straight after the show, they're hotfooting down to the Oval for the cricket before then running across town to see the one and only Gallagher brothers at Wembley. But before that, they face the ultimate conundrum... what do they wear? It sounds simple at first but think about it, and think about it they did.

Plus, there's the return of Take A Chant as Johnny has discovered his new favourite terrace anthem. Send us your best chants via voicenote to our WhatsApp on 0330 33 33 100 or email us your clips to [email protected]. We're looking for Premier League specials please, and whilst you're at it send us your Premier League Mexican Handbags too!

You can hear The Kickabout live on Radio X from 11am every Saturday.

We're going to the oval after this and then we're going to the Oasis at Wemble. We're going from the cricket in one stadium to Oasis in another. It's Champagne Super Oval. It really is. John, what a Saturday we've got ahead of us. What a night it's going to be. Oh, yeah. So we are tremendously excited, even though we don't quite know what to wear.

0:54.3

More on that later in the show, because we're in an area gav of corporate hospitality at the Oval, not at Wemble. That's right. And it's a corridor of uncertainty. It really is. Clothes wine. They've said smart but casual.

And we've got to accommodate the evening's entertainment as well. We've got to accommodate the evening's entertainment. And, more importantly, Gav, boy, have we got to pace ourselves? Oh, yeah. Really careful. You think you're going to see some paceman out there on the wicket, Gav? We're going to have to do clever pace work. We have to be paceman ourselves, aren't we?

1:27.9

I think we might have to draw up a schedule of drinks.

2:00.9

Do you know what we really might have to? Yeah, I think so, timing-wise. It'd be really funny to have a drinks timetable. A schedule. If also... With alarms going off. Imagine if that dropped out of someone's pocket. Excuse me, what's... Ainks. What? With also suggested conversation. Yeah, yeah. And drinks as well. And drinks, yeah. I meant drinks, but with suggested conversation. The drinks break? Yeah, the drinks... Oh, nice. Harry. Harry. Harry. Harry. Harry. Good morning, Harry. Good morning, Harry. Good morning, Harry. Good morning, Harry. Good morning.
