The 999 call came in at 1.32am on July 7, 2011 from a bungalow in Calwind, the woman on the phone said that someone had been stabbed.

Her daughter had called her and told her that her father, the man she's separated from, threatened the lives of their daughter and their grandchild.

To protect them, their daughter's boyfriend stopped it. A struggle in sued and Tony was stabbed. The 999 operator informed the woman who identified herself as Joanne that police were on their way.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found Joanne bar, her two daughters, and their boyfriends all huddled together in the living room.
