Let's start with Solar City. Tesla has made an offer to buy Solar City.

Yes, Elon Musk got down on a bend knee and proposed to Elon Musk in a manner, sort of.

But they have to ask mom and dad's permission first.

That in this strange silly scenario I'm a metaphor I'm creating here.

That would be the stockholders.

It is pending approval.

Now, if approved, it would be an all-stock transaction amounting to approximately $2.9 billion.

This proposal, according to Tesla, represents a value of $26.50 to 28,

50 per share, or a premium of approximately 21 to 30%

over the closing price of Solar City shares on the day of the proposal which was Tuesday.
