Cole. Secretary Cole is a farm kid from Southeast Michigan. He's

an FFA kid, as he says. He is the first African American to

graduate with a timber management degree from the University of

Missouri. He worked as a park superintendent for the city of

St. Louis, a forester for the city of Milwaukee. And now he is

heading the DNR. He's also one of those rare political figures

as worked under both Democrat and Republican administrations. He

started off under Jim Doyle, worked under Scott Walker, and now

he's under Tony Evers administration. Now, I really enjoyed

talking to Secretary Cole, because, you know, as many of you know,

I'm a big environmentalist. And I just think there are a ton of

environmental issues facing Wisconsin right now that, you know,

honestly, I just don't think a lot of people are talking about

PFAS is one of those issues. And it's also one of those issues

that both Democrats and Republicans, I think, can unite on.
