Last week on the Oster Home Update podcast, Dr. Oster Home envisioned the coming weeks and months

0:47.1

of the COVID-19 pandemic as a four chapter story, with each chapter addressing our current mindset

0:52.9

1:18.7

numbers of cases, hospitalizations, and deaths. Then, two new plot points, COVID-19 vaccines,

1:25.2

and dangerous coronavirus variants, were introduced at the end of Act 2. And now we're in the

1:30.2

second intermission, waiting to see how those two plot points play out. It's an imperfect

1:35.2

analogy, but on this March 11th episode of the Oster Home Update, we'll be exploring how this

1:40.0

third act of the COVID-19 pandemic may unfold, looking at how those two key plot points,

1:45.2

the vaccines and the variants, will affect the storyline. Within this discussion, we'll also talk

1:50.4

about the CDC's recent guidelines on what fully vaccinated people can do, and look at how

1:54.9

vaccine inequity could extend the third act to the pandemic. We'll also answer a listener email
