Grab my phone here because I'm getting a lot of notifications making noises, notifications

from a WhatsApp group that I'm in.

It's about Friday, Friday, football, who's in, who's out, who's paid their dues for the

next session, etc.

Have you ever noticed the muting options in WhatsApp?

If you want to mute a group, you know, you think it could go in and just mute it for a

little while, but you're giving three options.

They seem a bit arbitrary to me because the options are eight hours.

One week or one year, those are the only options you have.

You can't set your own time and you think, you know, on this day and age, when they

were brainstorming around the WhatsApp HQ, you know, the tech table, whatever it is,

someone would have said, hey, if you're in a group, it would be a good idea.

Let's say if you're in the cinema or if you're in work or whatever, to be able to mute

notifications from that group and everyone, yes, yes, what a good idea.

You're a genius.

How long should we allow them to mute it for?

How about an hour, two hours, four hours, six hours, 24 hours?

Maybe even they could, you know, enter their own time, you know, put in numbers where

numbers equal hours, so it could be 24, 48, 16, whatever you like.
