podcast this is take number two on a hustle podcast I was like four minutes in

and the camera died I'm like four minutes in and the camera died. I'm like, party foul, rookie move, I guess totally

know, right? But hi, how are you? I'm excited to be here today. We are going to talk about hustle and what I especially want to talk about is,

it's, okay, here's what's interesting to me, all right? It is super interesting to me that sometimes, I feel like as an American, we go from one extreme to another, super fast, okay? Let's take the idea of hustling, all right? So back when I started business, back in the year

T99 slash 2000, I don't even know that I ever heard the word hustle. Okay, when I started coaching like 11 years ago in the online space,

there were a lot of people that were kind of sort of talking about hustling and what's interesting I actually had a definition of

hustling up I need to pull that back up define hustle I'm gonna type that in as

we're talking but I'm not even sure that I knew fully what hustling was

and by the way if you look up hustling here's what it says it's a verb to

force someone to move hurriedly or unceremoniously in a specified direction or to

obtain by forceful action or persuasion, or if it's a noun, busy movement and activity.

Okay? And what's super interesting is that somewhere in the last I don't know decade is there's

been a real swing from people hustle hustle hustle to build your side

business to to you know really like get some gains in your business to really scale like you need

to hustle we've swung from that in the online space in this country, whatever, from that to now like hustling is bad.

We all just need to slow down.
