We are spending the summer in Delmar, which is North County, San Diego.

We used to live in this area, and it feels so good to be bad.

ugh my nervous system is just loving it. This morning,

Stephan Athene and I went to the beach and we just all came back covered in

sand and you know salty ocean hair and I just

notice how much my nervous system really responds to my environment.

And when I'm in a beautiful place that I love and in nature

and with people I love,

it's so easy to be in that regulated state, to be present, to not have things that would usually

irritate me, to feel like I'm more in flow. And wouldn't it be nice? Maybe it's possible for some of us, but I know for most of us,

living in a totally gorgeous place on the ocean and going to the beach every morning may not be our day-to-day reality.

Our day-to-day reality may be more like rushing to take care of people, going to a job we don't

like, struggling to pay bills, and the list goes on and on.

And so so many of us, even you listening right now, live in more survival than you actually do thriving.
