We are jessy-less today because we had to schedule this episode around the time we could nab.

Robin Nitz, you're in America and then Canada and you're briefly back in the UK

before you restart the second half of your North America tour.

Robert, you're doing a ludicrous number of things.

So Robin's been on the show before, a friend of the show, you'll probably know him from

things like Infinite Monkey Cage and various book-based tours and various book-based books

that he's written and all sorts of science and literary, comedy things, just all around amazing things.

Hey, Robin, how are you? Well, do you know what? I think we've shown ourselves up very badly with the fact that, you know, physicists are trying to understand the nature of time.

And the reason that this has ended up being such an awkward one with Jesse not being able to do it is

we couldn't understand even the nature of a 24 hour clock and the time differences between L.A. and

London. So the idea that we're ever going to get some Einsteinian comprehension of what's going on,

I think is way off until we've actually worked out how our watches are ticking.

But I'm very good, yeah.

It's been really, I mean, it's been fascinating being, like, properly back on the road with Brian Cox. Yeah, you and Brian Cox are criss-crossing North America at the moment.

Yeah, and always just missing the favourite bands.

You know, there's that thing where I don't know if you ever do that when you're on tour

and you always go, oh, there's that band.

Ah, the band, I think last time the two bands that Judas Priest were playing about three days

always before us and they have the same sound technician as we have, which is wonderful
