hello fellow human beings I hope you're well. Welcome to another episode of The Voices

in Our Heads. I'm Christina Hutchinson, your trusted host. And I open a lot of the episodes by saying congrats on not killing

yourself and that and I mean that truly but there was a person who did kill themselves tragically.

It's always tragic when this happens.

Daisy Coleman, she was 23 years old and she was part of a documentary on Netflix called

Audrey and Daisy.

Audrey Pot, along with Daisy Coleman, they were both not at the same instance but they

were they both experienced rape sexual assault and Audrey killed herself

eight days after she was assaulted by a classmate in high school at a high school party in California.

Audrey was sexually assaulted. I'm just going to read a little excerpt just to give you a background.

Suicide is not a laughing matter, but that's why I jovily say congrats on not killing yourself because I, it's, life is hard, life is

fucking hard and you never know what somebody's dealing with. So Daisy Coleman

23 was 14 when she alleged she was raped at a party in 2012 in Maryville, Missouri.

Her case drew national attention as she spoke of being bullied after the incident, but the charge

against the teenage boy she accused was dropped.

She was reportedly found dead after her mother called police to check in on her

and her mother had posted on Facebook after she learned of her daughter's suicide.
