I'm your host Brett and I'm joined by two folks on my right and left you guys get to guess which one I'm referring to first it's me. Oh, I'm Kristen. Who knows what direction yeah from anyway. Yeah, and continuing around the table. It's all down everybody. Hey, hi.

And this week we've got a few things to talk about a first obviously it's exciting finally the launch Street Fighter 6. We've been talking about it on PlayStation channels for a while now good at least over a year now. It was announced I think February 2022 February March somewhere in there.

I was like not a thing.

I know and then we had a big moment in state of play June of last year, 22. We just saw it in the PlayStation showcase and we've had an extra state of play since then, but.

And you know we've seen the reviews come out this week and obviously everyone who's laid hands on it just having a great time to open open beta was strong as well.

So to that end happy your launch day, but also Tim who's not here live with us in the podcast, but he did interview the director Nakayama Takayuki and Matsumoto Shuhei producer Street Fighter 6.

So we'll have that halfway through the show. They're both great. They came over to the PlayStation headquarters a few weeks ago. We'll have a PlayStation underground hopefully around this time for launch as well.

Just playing around doing some beginner stuff for folks who maybe are looking to join in and play some Street Fighter, but it's not the only thing happening this week. We also have some news and of course first is next week's new release highlights.

All information something to change our notice, but we obviously another big title we've been following for many, many weeks of let's say months at this point actually I'm going to walk it back years.

I remember 2019 when I first started here seeing that first trailer for the oblo for.

And it was a super slick CG trailer super impressive and here we are and again also just showing how strong the last few weeks have been for releases.

I mean, obviously we had a Jedi survivor not long ago and we're walking right into Diablo 4 Street Fighter 6. We got Final Fantasy 16 coming up. It's a big month, but Diablo 4 PS5 PS4.

Yeah, super excited to dive in. I've never played a Diablo game and it's just one of those blank spots I've had where I've many friends who love it.

Instead, he's not on the show today, but I mean, he's big Diablo fan and it's just one of those one of those series you just never just by playing games since the 2600 days.

I'm a million years old, but I just Diablo is one of those I never I never got into, but this one I've been looking for a game to play with friends and have that game once a week.

Let's all hop on and we'll do some grinding and stuff and it just seems like this might be the one.

This is definitely the one for that. My only Diablo experience is Diablo 2 and it comes entirely because in college my husband, boyfriend at the time, was in a dorm room with the three other guys, the tiniest room physically on the planet.

They each had their own desk that might as well have been touching with how close they each were and you would go over the dorm to hang out and they would all just be playing Diablo together all in the room together, but no one talking.

Everybody just playing. And so every once in a while, I would hop in and play as well and it was it was something. So it's definitely one for if you want to get that sort of feel like, oh, grab some friends like one weekend or a quick quick match tonight.

Yeah, go exploring.

Yeah, you know, I always find it interesting and long running series. There's always those titles that got the everybody to join in and I think Diablo 4 is going to be there.
