And today's case is kind of interesting because it actually came to me because of one of our recent listener stories. So our listener, Jess, sent in a story about a man that

she worked with and had some very bizarre encounters with and then learned that he was the main suspect

in a cold case. So I'm going to share the story from Jess towards the end of the episode

because I want you to kind of know all the background because I think once you know,

like when we first read the listener story, I think it was for listener stories 43 that we

shared this one.

And when we first read it, we obviously were like freaked out and whatever.

But now that I've done research and like know the whole case and then went back and

read her story, I was like,

this is even scarier. Yeah. It's like real. So I'm going to share. Yeah, exactly. So I'm going to

share part of her listener story with you guys towards the end of the episode. Um, but this is a case

that was cold for multiple decades and was recently technically not solved because no one has been

convicted, but essentially solved thanks to DNA. So this is the 1985 murder of Wisconsin

college student Terry Dalloway. In 1985, 24-year-old Terry Dalloway was doing it all.

She was in her senior year at the University of Wisconsin lacrosse, where she was studying finance.
