I've lost my voice.

You might be able to hear, I'm a little bit croaky.

Well, what happened was, is I got a slightly passive aggressive text message from you saying, I've had to rearrange all of the schedule for the skeptic podcast because you haven't done your voice recording. That's not quite what it was. It was very much a... You fucking bell in. You're fucking bell in is what you rose, right? You haven't done your voice. And I thought, shit, yes, I did promise Marsh that I would, that I would do the voice recordings. And I didn't get around to it. I hadn't got around to it. I thought, right. Fuck it. I've got time right now. I'm going to do it right now. So I got my microphone out. And I spent literally six hours shouting as loud as I could into a microphone to do a year's worth of recordings for you up front. And it has fully crashed. You could have spent half an hour. How many did Marsh ask for? One, maybe two. Yeah. I did nine, I think nine or ten. Yeah. This is what I did. And it has completely ruined my voice.

And it's one of the upcoming ones, but I've given it to someone else. It's fine. Which one did I miss? I don't know, episode 75 or 73 or something. Oh, fuck all that. It's fine. Sorry, I'm doing that. But yeah. So as a result, my voice is completely ruined. So listeners, you've got to put it with this for a few episodes

until my voice gets back to normal again

because I'm a complete... I hope it's that. I'm not... I've picked up some fucking fatal disease. Which is entirely possible, too. But it was immediately after having recorded that it was like, oh, my throat doesn't work and my voice doesn't sound the same anymore. you might be able to hear it actually as the skeptic podcast goes on over the year, my voice

getting worse and worse and worse until like episodes from November are appalling.

Yeah, it depends whether you recorded them in order. Because you applauded them in like a

in a different order and I, so like you might have recorded them out of order. No I think, I think I recorded them largely in order. Okay, okay. The one I really struggled with and why it took so long, listeners don't care about this. It's literally about another podcast. Different podcast. Aaron Rabinowitz's article on Better Way. Yes. It was the longest thing I've ever read in my life. Yeah. Fucking hell. He has a habit of doing that. They're good, though. They're good articles. It was a great article. I kept saying, fucking how much longer is a shouting to Katie downstairs? This is fucking ridiculous. I did that with one article that I read for the Skeptic Podcast. It was an archive article about UFOs in, I think, either renders from Forest. Yeah,

it was Jenny Randall's article on Forest. I signed it to myself and I started reading it.

And I think it took me half an hour of, like, it is a half an hour long story or a 35

minute story. I was bloody hell. And that's not one that I edited because that was in the archive.

So it would have been one that either Chris French or Deborah Hyde or Wendy Grossman would have edited years and

years and years ago. But yeah, it was a long, it must be like an 8,000 word article in the

magazine or something. So bear with me, folks.
