I'm your host, Kevin Avery, and joining me, as always, he's a brilliant film critic and author,

and a man who I bet can identify all five telltale signs of corruption in a river city youth.

Rhymes with P. Anyway, well, a couple things are good.

First of all, what is so wonderful is all the folks who came forth and supported this program

during the Max Fun Drive, all the wonderful listeners out there who supported the whole

network, and especially those of you who selected Maximum Film as one of your shows that you wanted to make sure got

the love from your monthly donation. We super appreciate it. We know the economy is a nightmare

right now. So it means all the more to us every year when you guys step up and really back up

the show. And just as a quick reminder, if you weren't able to do it this year, again, I totally get it. But a thing that everybody who listens to this show can do that doesn't cost a dime is tell other people about the show. Tell your friends that you enjoy it that maybe they'll like it too. Maybe they should check the show out. And then maybe we can soak them for some money. So, you know, it all works out in our favor either way.

So anyway, just big thanks to everybody who participated in Max Fund Drive.
