Brett this week. Hi. Hey y'all. It is episode 453 and we have an interesting one for you guys

today. A little bit different for the show. A lot of times we'll have sort of news that you could

use and then we dive into an interview, but we have a really cool one that we just thought could

be a great highlight for this episode. Brett, you recently had the chance to meet with some gaming

legends, really. Yeah, it's definitely one of those having been in this line of work for basically

20 years now, because I'm old. There's definitely like a list of people that you're like, oh,

surely someday I'll talk to our interview this person and that person because they're just so

such fixtures of gaming. And at this episode, we're able to have a, you know, remote zoom style

interview with Alexei Petitnov and Hank Rodgers of Tetris fame. Alexei, of course, the

creator of Tetris, like going back, you know, four years almost and Hank Rodgers who together,

they helped bring Tetris to the world, you know, for global release to other markets outside

of outside of Russia and the world was forever changed. And truly, it is now just a shorthand for

all kinds of things like the Tetris effect is the thing that people know on first reference

and now it's of course a game itself, but you were able to sit down and talk to them because

on Apple TV Plus launching today or launching releasing today as of as of this recording March 31st,

on Apple TV Plus is a movie called Tetris, just simply Tetris, that kind of dramatic sizes,

dramatizes, whatever that word is, fictional loosely retelling the events of real life based on

the story of how that happened of the invention of Tetris and then how it came out of one part of

the world to the rest of it. And now that may seem like, oh, that doesn't seem very dramatic.

You'd be surprised. It's a crazy story because we're talking like late 80s and there's a lot of
