Hey, thank you so much. Glad to be here.

Ed has the coolest name, A-X-L-E-Y.

I mean, it just feels like a cool name, so I'm really glad to have you on the podcast. Our mutual friend introduced us and just she knows you and realizes that you are a convert to the church that has experience in the Catholic system and the Episcopal system, joined the church at 18 on the East Coast,

and then served a mission in Costa Rican, has been home for about 20 years. A married father

of four owns a business in Utah County called Davis Design Build and recently completed his

assignment as a bishop and his warden. It's just one of these great members of our church and great members of our community

that has insights that will help all of us.

So this podcast, you know, I kind of share with our listeners.

This is like us going out to lunch and me hearing Ed's story.

So kind of welcome to lunch and Ed's going to share his story with me and all of you at

the same time. But we've kind of outlined this, listeners. I thought it would be good for Ed

to tell his conversion story, and especially being exposed to so many of the Christian religions,

the uniqueness of our religion that drew him into our faith. Then he's going to talk about

just four ways to respond.

And I'll just let him introduce that segment when we get to it.

And the last segment will be kind of his role as a bishop to help people not feel less of

yourself and not feel shame and feel hope and better understanding of the toment of Jesus Christ.
