Hello, everybody. Welcome to Crystal Kyland Friends. Today we'll be talking to Jordan

Charidan, the on-the-ground reporter who's covering important issues like a hawk and massive

credit to him and he doesn't get nearly the recognition he deserves. There's only a

handful of reporters in the country that I really can almost guarantee that whatever I look

at that they're doing, I'm going to be interested in it. He's one of them. David Trot is

another who else held me out here. Oh, you're going to make me use my brain. That's

so unfair. Maximilian Alvarez, I think, over at The Real News is doing great work. One

of the things that I think is so important is Jordan is actually on the ground and there

are very few people who are doing that. More perfect union has been doing some good

stuff. There's another outlet that I would say on the ground talking to workers, talking

to the human being. Oh, yeah. More perfect union was actually the one I was thinking of that.

That are involved in the story. It's extremely rare to find people because it takes a lot

of resources. It takes a lot of time. It takes a lot of money. The result for Jordan has

been just suppression across the board, making it very difficult for him to be able to continue.

That's true. We're going to be talking to him about what's going on with the mayor race

in Buffalo where you have a democratic socialist who's this close to victory and then the Democratic

party decided to stab her in the back and twist it. He's covering that. He's covering

the John Deere strike. He's also covering a unionization effort in Buffalo amongst Starbucks

workers. He's covering all the important issues. But before we dive into that, there's an

interesting thing that I'd like to talk to you about Crystal and get your feelings on

this. Joe Rogan is, in my opinion, he's a genuinely decent person. He's a nice guy.
