Music Well, it's late June, which means you're either basking in the long days of summer, spending lazy afternoons on the river and catching fireflies at night, or you're doing your best to keep some regular rhythms going, believing as our fun-loving friend Terry Woods does that

no kid needs to go to the pool every day for three months. As we're getting ready for Wild

and Free family camp this August, the grand opening of the Farm Village in Virginia, in our

conference in Franklin, Tennessee this September, I'm equally excited about something big that's

happening this fall.

Five years ago, Wild and Free began as a tiny Instagram account that turned into a movement

of homeschooling mamas all over the world. Each of us might take a different approach, but all

of us are bound by our passion to preserve childhood, raise lifelong learners, and restore the wonder

in our children's education. After years of stories, studies, and experiences as a community,

we're finally releasing a new book called The Call of the Wild and Free, written by yours truly.

Coming out on September 3rd, this beautiful, full-color book tells the story of our community,

encourages veteran and brand-new homeschool mamas alike,

and details the wild and free way,

the approach that has impacted a whole new generation of homeschooling families.
