Hi friends, welcome to another episode of that sounds fun. I am your host Annie F. Downs and I am so

happy to be here today. We have a super fun episode for you in the background singing to us as always is our sweet friend Ellie Hulcomb. I don't know if you know but her sister as well is an incredibly, incredibly talented artist.

I try to remember to do this y'all. I'm not great at it but I try to remember because people are always asking what I'm reading and what I am listening to and right now while I am writing this new book.

I've been listening to a ton of instrumental stuff but mostly I'm listening to heartbreak by Lady Annabelle. Their new album is so good. I like can't quit it. That song hurt messes me up. I mean the whole thing is incredible. I think you love it. I'm sure most of you already have it because most of everyone already has it.

But that is what I'm listening to when I'm getting ready in the morning also always listening to Alec Baldwin's podcast. It is called Here's the thing. So I like listening to that as well. Maybe I'll start telling you some other podcast recommendations. That'd be fun if I can remember.

And then I'm reading Sun by Lois Lowry. It's a book for young adults but I'm reading it with one of my friends who is 11 and we're having a little book club about it. So that is what I am reading and listening to right now.

We have got a great bunch of episodes coming up for you before a tiny tiny break at the end of the summer. But today I wanted to do something different because it was a special day in national Tennessee because my assistant whom you already know and love Eliza is in town.

So I thought it'd be fun just to sit down with Eliza and our other coworker, New Katie and the three of us just kind of talk about life and what it's like to work it down books and if only Hale could have been here.

Hale was the missing piece of our little quartet. But three out of four of us are here. So we just sat down and just went for it. Y'all we just talked it out. Talked about a lot of funny stuff and serious stuff and had a really good conversation.

So I hope you'll enjoy this little conversation between all the gals who work together at down books incorporated Eliza Katie and myself.

Well, I was going to bring my jug with a straw because I figured you might like that better. Yeah, a little lady like, but I have a lot of item.

I could have made one. How would you have made it? What would you have done? Maybe maybe something like Mungiver with tape.

Keep going. I don't know. I hadn't real. I was just going to bring a single one and just for the two very gently from the top. Yeah, but I had a lot of stuff to bring with me. And so my my fall through was poor.
