David Kelly Rabbit Hole.

Yes, it is June of 2003 on the doorstep of July

2023, which I'm sure my listeners will know by now

marks the 20th anniversary of the death of Dr. David Kelly.

And if you were around at the time and following the dinosaur media,

as I was at that time, you will probably remember this story, at the very least, from the coverage that it did certainly receive at the time. It was a large story about famed UN Weapons Inspector,

Dr David Kelly, who was discovered dead on Harrowdown Hill

near his home in Oxfordshire in England on July 17th of 2003 and a public inquiry was announced into that death

the very next day by the UK government and that inquiry eventually returned the verdict that Dr Kelly had

indeed taken his own life committing suicide by swallowing 29 co-proximal

tablets and slashing his ulinary artery with a pruning knife that he had had since youth.

And the official verdict was that this was likely done due to the stress that Dr. Kelly was under after having been outed as a source for a

BBC report on the Sext Up Dossier that had been released in the buildup to the Iraq war that made the UK government's

case for that Iraq war.

Now as I say you probably are familiar with various aspects of this story if you were around at the time and following the news because it did receive some attention and if you did then well here's the 60-70-second summary of what most people at least in Dinosaur Media World would know about

those events. The death of Dr. David Kelly continues to make headlines. It's now being called a textbook case of suicide
