ABC News, Washington Post poll finds that Trump's economic approval stands at 39% versus 61% who disapproved.

Just two months ago, before announcing his wide-ranging tariff plan, 45% had approved with 53% disapproving.

That's a real drop.

The latest APNORC poll finds Trump 24 points underwater on the issue of the economy,

while the latest New York Times-Syana College poll finds Trump 12 points underwater on that issue.

The poll also finds that Trump's pursuit of widespread tariffs opposed by 55% of voters and 63% of independence.

If you look at this right here, if you look at some of the issues, what is fueling this right now? It shows it's really across the board right now.

And if you look at where he was in mid-February and you look where he is right now,

he is underwater on every issue from a minimum of 3 percentage points to a maximum of nine percentage points

specifically when it comes to inflation in the economy as you point out which is

supposed to be his you know his expertise at this point was also interesting just

is should the American people expect an increase in the top marginal tax rate?

There have been some reports out there that the Trump administration is looking at pushing the top tax rate for those making over

a million dollars back up towards 3940 percent. Is that something that we should expect from a

Republican bill? I would not expect that. We have been working against that idea.
