I'm JJ Zacharisen, the late round quarterback, and I'm joined by my lovely, lovely week one co-host, Denny Carter. Denny, what's going on, buddy? I feel like you calling me week one co-host implies that I might not be here week two. Yeah, that's probably a good point. I didn't mean it that way. I only meant it out of love. I'm hurt, you know, TBH as the kids say on Twitter. Yeah. I meant it, I meant it only

out of love. It's, it's week one, man. Yeah, no, you're right. And, you know, I don't know if I am

into actually having to give real advice for real situations. I, I kind of liked, you know, waxing

philosophical for the past three months or four months or however long we did.

Yeah, it's pretty convenient to be able to say things that didn't matter.

Just like, you could just say things all summer long and they didn't matter at all.

Yeah, I mean, you could say, you could just be like, look, I mean, when you're talking about tight end, you can play almost anyone. That's the stream. Yeah, you just do it. People would listen and just nod along. And now we have to actually be like, well, here's the thing about that. We have to do things. I'm ready. I'm pumped to see which, because I mean, it's inevitable that tight ends and even some quarterbacks.

Quarterbacks, you kind of know, like, which guys are going to be streamers this year. But tight ends are always the wild card. You know, last year we had Jordan Reed and obviously, well, Julius Thomas got picked up early, but then, you know, Tim Wright, like, we had our boys. We're going to get some new boys. Yeah, no, and I guarantee you, and we'll talk about this

in more detail, obviously, but I guarantee you at least a couple of the people we are going to

talk about today and next week are going to become every week starters. Yeah, it's inevitable. It happened

last year. It was a beautiful thing last year this podcast, and hopefully we can keep

things going because we, I mean, patting both of us on the back at the same time is what I'm doing

right now with both hands, one arm around you and the other one on my right shoulder. There's only

like 14 people on planet earth who could do that by the way yeah yeah i have really really long arms

and huge hands it's impressive yeah i believe yeah yeah so i'm that's what i'm doing right now and

but i'm excited i'm i'm ready to see uh see who kind of emerges and whatnot and and i'm ready

to talk about alec smith every single week, to be honest.
