Summary
After Rafael Nadal defeated David Ferrer to win his eighth French Open title, a record for any player at a single Grand Slam tournament, David was desperate to gloat about getting his prediction right. Catherine stands her ground as usual in Episode 44, and they both throw their hats into the ring to predict how many Slam titles Nadal and women's champion Serena Williams will end up with.
Our big interview this week is with Tim Henman, who hails Andy Murray, talks about his greatest moment as a tennis player, and how long he thinks Roger Federer will go on for.

| 0:00.0 | Hi, I'm John Mackinor, and you're listening to the tennis podcast. |
| 0:12.9 | Well, hello and welcome to the tennis podcast on the day that Raffa Amadow won his eighth |
| 0:17.7 | French Open title. That's more Grand Slam titles than a single Grand Slam tournament |
| 0:22.1 | Catherine and anybody in history, but more importantly, I was right. |
| 0:28.5 | Yes, you were right David, but as Jason, as I am by my inaccurate predictions, |
| 0:37.1 | I am delighted that you were right. I'm really chuffed. He's won that eighth title. I think he's |
| 0:43.0 | as dominant on clay as anyone has ever been on any surface, which is quite something. |
| 0:49.4 | Well, arguably more dominant, but it is ridiculous. If you think about it, the guy |
| 0:54.3 | had seven months out of the sport, and I think he's played nine tournaments since then. |
| 0:59.6 | He's reached nine finals. Nine finals out of nine tournaments played, it is just absurd. |
| 1:07.1 | But it's absurd, Catherine. What are you pausing for? It's absurd. |
| 1:10.3 | But it's not absurd. It's a stupendous achievement. It's utterly fantastic, |
| 1:17.3 | and not to be underestimated, but it's there's nothing absurd or ridiculous about it, |
| 1:21.6 | because I just don't think he would have come back unless he knew really that he was able to |
| 1:28.2 | reach the final of every tournament he entered or win it. So I certainly don't think it's absurd, |
| 1:34.8 | but in terms of the scale of the achievement, it's as big as it gets, I think. |
| 1:41.0 | That's the annoying thing about Catherine Whitaker. Just when you think you've got on the back |
| 1:44.1 | foot, she comes out with an answer that makes sense, and it really annoys me. However, Nadal, |
| 1:50.2 | in terms of the way he beat Ferrer, I mean, you've got to say that poor old David Ferrer, |
| 1:55.5 | I mean, he reaches his first Grand Slam final and credits to him. He's done everything |
| 1:59.9 | asked of him. He put everything he could into that final. He just had no answers at all. I mean, |
| 2:05.9 | we talked about it on the eve, didn't we? We said, if they play each other, it's like |
