Yeah, I think sometimes we use this idea of opening up almost like a catch-all,

like if we're just feeling dissatisfied in the relationship in some way,

or just feeling like we're not quite getting what we're wanting from our partner,

like it's very easy to just say like, oh, why don't you just open up to me more often?
