Hello, clinical problem solvers. Welcome back to another neurology case. My name is Bayan and I'm a medical intern from Syria.

Today we have a very challenging yet interesting case presented by Dr. Andrew Sanchez, a hospitalist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

Good morning. Good afternoon. Good evening. Clinical problem solvers. We're back for another

neurology morning report. Good to see everybody, by the way. I've been at neurophiomar in a long time.

Aliquot number one is the HPI and past medical history. So it's a man in the 70s who came to

our hospital with bilateral leg weakness. He couldn't notice when exactly the weakness started,

but he thinks it began no more than three months prior. He decided to present because after being

unable to stand up from a chair or climb stairs without significant assistance, he then even with

a walker had difficulty making it from the bed to the toilet, so he had to start using a bedside commode.
