Hello, David. Hello, Will. How are you, my friend? I'm good. I have missed your company. I hardly know where to start in this news stuffed week, as per usual. We could actually start with a note I got from listener Steve, who is a fellow Trojan and says that Matt Leinard refuses

to give up his retired number 11 U.S.E. Trojans jersey for anybody, not even a high-level

top recruit. Have you been following that story? It's not a story. It's a joke. It's ridiculous.

And his number was retired, so why would he give it up?

He's never been asked to give it up by the current coach. Matt is clarified. And this whole thing is

ridiculous. Okay, good. But don't retire numbers if you're going to ask someone to then give it back

later. Well, it just seems like an easy gift to give away and then ask for later when, you know,

the need is urgent, I suppose, but it's not really a gift in that case. All right. Well, we could

talk also about Caesar Chavez. We have talked about the estimable labor leader, founder of the

UFW, United Farm Workers back in the 60s, and along with Martin Sheen and multiple others, including

Dolores Wirto, the news this week, David. Here's from Politico, Cesar Chavez allegations,

jolt California's labor movement. What is this news? Chavez has been accused of inappropriate

sexual behavior with young women and minors, the United

Farm Workers, the national organization he co-founded, calls the allegations of abuse shocking,

disturbing, crushing, and indefensible, and said it would cancel all Saser Chavez Day events while

not sharing details. The top two Democrats in the state legislature, that would

be Senate President Pro Tem Monique Lemone and Assembly Speaker Robert Revis. Again, this according to

Politico, extended sympathies for, quote, the victims and everyone carrying this pain. The serious

allegations involving Sazer Chavez are devastating. The legislature
