0:21.0	By my good friends, my partners in radio, Barnabas Piper and Ron Martin, boys, we've got a little like backward looking. We're going to think about our 20-year-old selves,
0:33.2	and what our 20-year-old selves would think about our lives today.
0:37.2	And then a little forward-looking,
0:38.9	where we see ourselves in 20 to 30 years.
0:41.9	It's going to be an interesting exercise, boys I'm looking forward to it.

0:52.3	So let's think about our 20-year-old selves. We got to think about like where we were at 20.
0:59.0	I was a sophomore in college. I was just about to meet my wife.
1:05.0	Actually, at 20 I had met her, but we were just dating.
1:10.0	How would your 20 year old self view your current self?
1:15.0	Pipe let's start with you like where were you at 20 what were you like what were you doing?
1:19.0	Yeah, so I was uh so I would have been sophomore junior, like going into my junior year at Wheaton.
1:26.9	I was, uh, I was really heavily involved in leading a youth group at a local church, kind of a mid-sized, it had a real
1:37.7	kind of John MacArthur flare to it, which means something different now than it did 20 years ago.
1:45.0	So 20, I was 20, 20 years ago.
1:48.4	So back then, you know, MacArthur was much less,
1:50.8	I don't know, he wasn't nearly as divisive.
1:55.0	He was just known, he was known more as the expository guy and the conservative guy.
1:59.0	And yeah, so that's, that was my my life and so at that point and then I was also a pretty I was a pretty
2:07.7	uncommitted student and much more interested in you you know, intramural sports and having a good time than I was in going to class.
