Hey, look, this is the first day of Christmas, depending on how you look at it. There you go.

Yes, yes. You know, don't come from my tree until at least after epiphany. What's good with me is, okay, this is a very Southern California thing, but I think it extrapolates out to other stuff.

I recently visited the Gardena Cinema for the first time, which is a beautiful old single screen theater, family owned.

The Kim family has owned it for decades.

Sean Baker, a big fan of the Gardena and has really kind of helped put it on the map.

And I'm very excited that Los Angeles film critics, which I'm a part of, is giving

Judy Kim a special citation for, you know, being one of the last sort of family-owned

independent theaters in Southern California.

But because it's the end of the year, I just wanted

to sort of put a plea out there because we always love to talk about, you know, preserving the
