Hey everybody, it's your old pal Merlin and believe it or not you are listening to the

back to work program.

We're doing something a little bit different today.

Your friend and mine, Dan Benjamin, poor fella is feeling, you hear the train going by,

poor Dan's feeling a little under the weather today.

I said to Dan, I said, why don't you let me try doing it on my own.

He's real sick so he said yes.

I mean, it's not that he's a lazy man.

It's dangerous to have me do this kind of thing on my own.

I used to do this for the 43 folders podcasts where I would just talk to myself and then assume

other people will listen and that's what we're doing today.

Just to assure you, we will be back, God willing, we'll be back with our normal lineup

and configuration next week.

But here it goes, I tried to think about what I could say to you all.

I asked my friend at the show, John Syracuse for advice and this is an exact quote.

He said, try to remember to pronounce all your words correctly is what he said to me.

That's as John Syracuse says, a big ask.

It's a big lift.

I can't promise you that I'm going to pronounce anything correctly.

He's not here to correct me so you're going to have to do that on your own.
