Scott is our first discussion on this podcast, at least by the two of us, in the month of December.

It's a winter wonderland. How are you?

Hey, Brad. I'm doing well. I hope everybody out there had a great Thanksgiving. I believe

this is the first time that you and I have done one of these since the holiday. So happy,

very belated Thanksgiving to everyone. And yeah, the winter meetings are here, early December.

As we have outlined a couple of times, I think the flow of the baseball offseason is a little funny sometimes,

but without any shadow of a doubt, the offseason really gets cranking during the week of the

winter meetings. And there are quite a few things to jump into this week. Yeah, I think the take that you've

offered several times, we won't do the whole thing now about how it would be better in some

ways for the sport if baseball's off-season kind of mirrored other off-season and that stuff

tends to happen, especially the NBA, but even in the NFL, like when the bell rings for free agency

and all that stuff.

And baseball doesn't really happen that way.

And it would be kind of easier for everybody involved if it did.

But the winter meeting is kind of unofficially kick it off.

And I know there's been some previewing of the winter meetings on our podcast feed.
