your host, Sydney. What's everybody been up to? What's going on? Happy Wednesday. We're

halfway through the week. I'm filming this on Tuesday, but Wednesday will officially mark one

week out from going to Texas to meet all of my horror talk friends and go to Fantastic Fest and

possibly meet Mike fucking Flanagan and Stephen fucking King and all of my lords and saviors. And I don't know what I'm going to do

with myself. In honor of that, not to like jump in already, but today's episode honestly is in

honor of the King Flanagan partnership collaboration that we have going on here because we're

talking The Shining and we're talking Dr. Sleep

Flanagan just adapted yet another Stephen King novella, which is called The Life of Chuck.

And from what I've heard, this movie is going to be phenomenal.

A couple of my friends, Seth and Gigi, that have interviewed Flanagan before, which like,

I don't know how the fuck they managed to get through that.

They said that,

I believe that they said that he said that this was his favorite project that he's worked on,

was Life of Chuck. And we believe that this might be one of the secret screenings at Fantastic

Fest, meaning that Stephen King very well might fucking show up. Mike Flanagan is likely already

going to be there because they're premiering VHS beyond, which he and Kate Siegel did segments for. My friends are so fucking cool, guys.

Like, Gigi and Seth are like going to be interviewing him. Chuck is going to be like interviewing

people. He put in to interview Halliberry. And meanwhile, I'm just going to be standing in a corner fucking crying. Like, I'm so not chill. I don't know how they do it.
