I'm your host Annie F Downs and I am so happy to be here with you.

We woke up this morning and to another sad story out of London and so my heart just a

little heavy today and I just want to encourage you to say a prayer for our friends over in

the UK and what's going down there. There's just so much in the world that is hard isn't

there. And so if you all wouldn't mind, if when that comes to your mind, I'm going to

be praying for them. I hope you will as well as the other things that are fresh off the

news reel. I wish we still had newsreels. Does anybody have a news reel? What does it even

look like? I don't know. But my phone alerts me with new news stories and sometimes it's

really hard. But I'm grateful that we know the end of the story. We know who wins in the

end and so we're just going to believe that and pray for peace for families who have lost

people they love and for a city like London that seems to be under some sort of attack.

So let's pray for them when they come to your mind. So in the background, the music

as usual is our sweet friend Ellie Holcomb and her new album Red Sea Road is a favorite

and I bet it's a favorite of yours at this point too. I have loved, loved, loved hearing

your responses from the last couple of weeks of the podcast. Chris McClarney and Sadie

Robertson. I keep getting the same response about Sadie and I know you guys when people

are going, I almost didn't listen because she's 20, but oh my goodness. And I'm like, I

know y'all. I know. I know she's amazing. She's amazing and it is so great. And Chris McClarney

is also amazing and hilarious. The three of us filmed a Facebook live video a couple

of weeks ago and he brought me a tiny hand and he brought Sadie a tiny hand and I'm thrilled

to now have my own. Chris McClarney branded tiny hand. I'm just beyond excited about it.
