0:18.7	It may be five, six minutes.
0:20.4	It's, is the Bible true.
0:22.4	So we should probably be able to wrap this up really quickly.
0:26.1	But in all seriousness, I think it's a really important question that may actually
0:29.9	seem simple up front.
0:31.7	But the more we dig into it, the more complicated it gets.
0:34.5	And in fact, my first intersection with this question and the Bible in a very
0:40.0	personal way came about about 10 years ago when a colleague, I was a pastor.
0:45.2	And again, it was a fairly large church.
0:48.0	We had five to seven teaching pastors.
0:50.5	And he was preaching on Genesis and had been sharing the idea that perhaps one
0:56.6	could believe the Bible is true while also believing in evolution.
1:00.0	And for a lot of the people in the congregation, this was no big deal.
1:03.5	And for some, it was a huge deal.
1:05.9	And in fact, there was a gentleman I had grown to know over the last few years
1:10.4	at the church.
