So this is a really weird time to move to Charleston. It was, uh, as we were pulling up, it started the rain, the floods, and, uh, had not rain,

stopped raining for the last three days. We are not able to move into our place. We've got all of our stuff

parked in a truck somewhere that is in water. And we found we got put up in this little

cottagey thing that has this little porch which I'm sitting on. It's kind of crazy. It's like a little

studio thing with two cats, a teething baby, a litter box.

My dad was here for a minute. So it's been crazy. I wasn't going to do the podcast, but I just decided to go ahead and do it anyway.

But sounds not as good maybe as normal because I'm surrounded by a storm.

All right, Adriana from A Cozy Kitchen is my guest this week.

I really wanted to have her on because I am obsessed with her new book that's coming out this

week, a year of cozy.

It's DIY, it's recipes, it's little things that you can do to live a happier, more well-balanced

life. Before we get started, two notes. We talked a little bit about drag queens on the episode

just for a minute. And she sent me a follow-up email later, and she wanted to say that she referenced Amanda

Lapoor in the episode, but she wants us to know that she knows that she is not actually

a drag queen.

She's transgender.

We just wanted to clarify that, just not to offend anyone and just make it clear.
