I'm here today to tell you that they have returned.

Who? Who has returned, you might say.

It's not so much who, but what?

The days that so many had doubted would ever come back.

Have, in fact, come back.

Glory is upon us once more.

We have struggled through dark times, through difficult times,

through times where we felt like we might like to chop bits of ourselves off

because that would be even less painful than watching the times that were dark and difficult

of a few days ago.

But no, we, true followers, we, true believers have been rewarded with our faith

on wavering as it is.

The glory days are back, the days of adoration, homage, exaltation, prestige,

splendor, worship, they're here once more.

They said it wouldn't happen.

Many of them said it would never happen, but they are wrong.

They will have to eat the humble pie.

Why you would make a pie out of humble rather than a crumble out of humble?

I don't know. A humble crumble sounds an awful lot more enticing than a humble pie.

But I don't make up the sayings.
