Okay, well it's breaking now. It's breaking for us. It's breaking for us. I know this is I went on Twitter and was like oh huh.

Yeah, so there's a follow up to the unity piece from earlier this week in which I had a big report about unity's relationship with the military and military contracts and employers employees of unity having issues with the fact that both

folks that work within their GovTech division is what they call it having increased concerns or the types of contracts that they are working on the lack of transparency over what is the line of like what are we willing to work on what are we not willing to work on how much do we know about the applications of those contracts.

And the the fallout from from that piece has been you know more public disclosure in within unity of like like I noted on Mondays early this week's pot and we call them Monday pod Tuesday.

The earlier pod that it was not shy that has existed in their company but it was it was clearly the case once they were forced to talk about the existence of this article that a lot of people in the company were pretty unaware that this was going on and they had concerns as a result of learning about the fact that other parts of the company had concerns about what was going going on.

So you can read all that in a big piece that wrote earlier this week and the follow up to that is that unity had a previous scheduled town hall meeting like a regular sort of here's what's going on like updates on things in the company and as a result of the peace and a lot of anxiety that was expressed and really a range of opinions, you know, for what I understand ranging from like raw raw military to what are we doing empowering the war machine.

In a real spectrum of opinions, former EA executive now unity CEO John work at tello was going to take that town hall meeting and at the top address the the peace and the employer responds response to it and also do a Q&A in which you know they would they try and drill down a little more on that specifically and so yeah I got a piece in which I have a byline shared with a main on my burger and Matthew galt shout us to them because I had a bunch of information that then we're going to be able to do that.

We had to record a podcast and it was just like here's a bunch of information could you help me put this into a story because I have to think about LCL instead.

So you know loved working with both of them and he shout to them for helping me craft that into something coherent you know the short takeaway from it is you know I mean when you start your town hall saying the majority of this is John work tello in this case.

The majority of what majority of you are going to agree with what I have to say today some won't and while I know this would difficult to hear for some I understand that a few of you may determine that unity is not the best fit for you.

Wow alright and that's like the large takeaway from the town hall is they're going to keep working with the war machine you know I mean we're can tello you know expressed like a lot of what they try to do is to work in training simulations work in like how to fix the humvees like this is specific projects like that.

Like this is just like the world. Yeah express that like their.

They're playing and this is that I said last last week which is like they're going to say they don't work on directly killing people they don't program missiles they don't program drones right what they program is anti IED stuff waste of training people how to diffuse bombs.

I even says he said outright soldiers do a lot of there are a lot of humanitarian things that soldiers do there's lots of things you can find soldiers in but training drones to kill people know yeah.

I know I said this quote from one current union employee who had who watched the town hall this that quote John work tello is leadership teams need to be fully committed to bullshitting their way through this.

They promise transparency in the town hall but delivered only lazy deflections and I think because it speaks to.

You know this is not giving necessarily work tello credit but like this is the reality like you you know trying to kind of like.

Pretend it isn't what it is I think is also sort of the issue like either say look there's a lot of money here we think we can help.

This is part of our value structure but like the I think the wishy washy stuff is where you get into trouble where you try and like fall back on.
