I'm John Bonas from Twinsdaily.com. Icom with me. Aaron Gleeman of Baseball Perspectus.com. Welcome. We're in a good mood. We're in a good mood. We're almost in a very bad mood. It was one of the worst ninth innings I've ever seen. Among ninth innings that have not completely imploded, that was one of, I feel like Taylor Rogers got like 14 outs in that ninth inning, which the bullpen we're going to talk about a little bit later. Yeah. The twins. I don't think we're going to be talking about it a little bit later every week from now on. Yes. Yeah. Hopefully in October we'll be saying, well, can the bowpen get them through to the AL?

Hopefully, yeah.

That's a little too good of a mood.

So the twins end last week on a good note and then play the four gamer against Toronto and very much a buzzkill.

Where Toronto. Especially how they lost buzzkill. Where Toronto.

Especially how they lost.

Right.

And Toronto's not quite on the level of the Orioles, the White Sox, the Royals, the

Tigers, but they're like only a half step up, right?

Especially before they add Vladimir Garrow Jr., which is going to happen pretty soon here.

They're not trying to win.

I don't think they're, like, actively tanking to the extent that those other teams are, but they're certainly not actively trying to win. They traded away enough guys in the offseason, but they're pretty close to him. No, believe me, I picked them, I think, for 72 wins or something like that. but the other thing that hurt losing three out of four to them, like you said, there were some, you know, not very good. They weren't like crisp clean losses. They were games where you just go, you're muttering to yourself throughout and afterwards. Well, they have the lead going into the middle endings, and then they don't have the lead coming out of the middle innings and they can't they can't muster quite enough offense to overcome it and

but the other thing that really hurt was that a week earlier the Indians had played the same

exact four game series against Toronto and took all four and so it's obviously you know too

early to be scoreboard watching all that but when you know the team that the only other competition for you in your division that we've been obsessing about, you know, all offseason, all season is what's Cleveland doing? You know, can they withstand losses of their key players? Well, they sweep all four. Twins lose three out of four. well there's a swing there that's going to at least least in the early part of the season, that's going to sting for a little bit.

You're going to have to work your way out of that.
