Oh, God, Kevin, I wish I were raking in that cork board money. Yeah, you know, that's where the action is. Gotta get that court cash. Well, what's good is, you know, it is September and while, you know, the prospect of autumn is but a fiction here in Southern California, it is the time of year when Great British Bake Off comes back on, which is, you know, a balm in these in these troubled times.

And last week was biscuit week, which is, of course, cookie week.

We'd call it here in the States.

And they had to make hob knobs.

And I was reminded of how fucking great hob knobs are.

And if you've never had one

it is a kind of dense but crispy and chewy cookie that usually has like a nice

chocolate layer on it. McVitties makes a good one they're often referred to as

digestive biscuits and the less time thought about that the better.

But they are like the perfect dunk in your mug, oh, coffee, or tea kind of cookie. And Dave White introduced them to me.

That was one of the relics of his semester abroad in London was coming home with a McVitty

fever, with the hobnob fever, which he passed

along to me. So my what's good this week, hobnobs. Hobnobs, classic. I love that the whole reason

they call them biscuits is just to have an excuse to have a boatload in the middle of the day.

Like you're not going to have like, oh, here's a tray of cookies.
