Yeah, yeah, figure that might be the case. I don't think that this is going to be one of the fun ones, folks.

Still coming to terms with, I guess, or dealing with the Champions League action on Wednesday evening. We went to Munich with some vague hope, I guess.

There's always that part of me anyway, maybe some of you are different, but there's always just this little part of me that hopes that just won't let go of that belief that because it's Arsenal, it's Arsenal Football Club, that we could do something, we could do something of it special or just something even okay. That would have been fine. I could have dealt with a 1-1 or even a 2-1 defeat. Now, if it take that back to London, that's okay.

They do say you can't win it in the first leg, but you can lose it, which is kind of silly when you think about it because if you can lose it, that means someone else has won it.

And unfortunately, it was an us that won it. It was, it was by a Munich.

And the repercussions of that defeat, the repercussions of the performance are huge, I think, because after falling away in the Premier League, losing to Watford, losing to Chelsea, the Champions League was the last thing.

I think that could have given us a real sense of something this season, and I'm not dismissing the FA Cup or anything like it. I love the FA Cup.

If you listen regularly, you will know, but just for a sense of the team being able to do something, being greater than the sum of its parts, achieving something that it hasn't for years, because this is the seventh successive season we've gone at in the round of 16 from the Champions League.

It's the same old story. So we were looking to Europe for just to give us a bit of variety, a bit of something different. And unfortunately, it was just more of the same.

And the same clearly isn't good enough anymore. The game itself poised 1.1 at half time and you're thinking, OK, 1.1 was a little bit fortunate to be level.

Alexis missed the penalty, then took an air shot, then produced a brilliant finish to make it 1.1, you're thinking, oh my god, only Arsenal could score a goal like that.

Away from home in the Champions League, if a penalty just took it away, put it away, you know, be a penalty taker. Just stick it in the fucking top corner or the other corner. Don't hit it straight down the middle of the goalkeeper.

But we got away with that. And in the final stages of the first half, Granite Jacques had a chance to score.

Mesa, Ozil had a chance to score and you were kind of thinking, oh, maybe, I know we're being outplayed here, but just maybe, maybe.

But no, it was not to be having gone behind, of course, to that goal by Aryan Robin, very early in the game.

I mean, look, the guy pulled off an unbelievable, unbelievable trick by coming inside on his favorite left foot and curling a shot into the top corner. I mean, who could have seen that coming? Nobody.

It was just like, oh, wow. So like that bit in a, is it rocky? Or he boxes left handed and then switches and the other guy is like, whoa, what the fuck is going on here? All of a sudden, he's boxing the other way. I'm so confused. How could we have known that Aryan Robin would like to come in and spank a shot with his left foot?

France's cockle hand did not cover himself in glory there. In fact, you went the other way rather than stand in front of Robin. He kind of went here. Mr. Robin, Mr. Robin, please, if you wouldn't mind, there's a wonderful amount of space for you to saunter into there and if you'd like to crack a shot into the top corner, that would be absolutely fantastic.

And I'm thinking like, what the, what are you doing? What are you doing? It's the basic stuff and that that's what gets you so worried about this arsel team. They just can't do the basics. And I think Byron should have scored a couple more maybe before we scored. And then you won't want to have time. And then Lauren Cassielney goes off.

Lauren Cassielney goes off and you're looking at it's like Gabrielle and the Schraderan Mustafa at center half against a Byron team playing like that. And all you can think of is
