Coming to you on a Sunday here, it is Labor Day weekend, and I am joined as often by Scott Coleman.

Scott, the Braves are very good six days a week, and the Braves are not so good on the day that we record this podcast.

Hey, Brad. I was mostly joking when we talked about this podcast being cursed a couple of weeks ago because they just don't seem to win on Sundays. But now, man, another Sunday loss, but overall,

just a tremendous week for the Braves and to be done with the West Coast and to be done really with

travel other than a couple of trips along the East Coast over these final four weeks,

things went about as well as they could have possibly gone. So overall, just a really nice

week for the Braves and we have a lot of things to get into. Yes, that is an appropriate thing

to say. We should acknowledge that we're mostly kidding about the Sunday thing,

but just a couple of stats because it's just so ironic and amusing as of right now on Labor Day weekend.

The Braves have lost five consecutive Sunday games.

And in the middle of that run, they basically have won every other game.

Not every game, but it's been pretty insane. Another one that's a favorite.

They're now 10 and 12 on Sunday this year. So the rest of the days combined, they're 80 and 34.

So I don't know what it is about Sunday. And it's not like, honestly, I can't remember who was talking about this today even.

It's not like the Braves are doing the old Bobby Cox thing where they just punt Sundays.
