Doctors and healthcare organizations know the importance of health data in treating their patients, but they do not have access to all of a patient's health data, such as when the patient has to go to the emergency room or if the patient sees a different doctor in another part of town.

Because of this inability to share information, patients have to provide their health history every time they see a new doctor and doctors don't have the complete picture of their patient's health.
