I am your host, Brad Rowland, coming to you on a Sunday evening here in late August,

and I am joined as often by Scott Coleman.

Scott, another four and two week for the Braves, but another loss on Sunday.

What is going on in Atlanta?

Yeah, clearly this podcast has some kind of a curse because as folks know, we record this on Sundays.

As fate would have it, Braves have actually lost on four Sundays in a row.

Although over the month of August, they've only lost eight times, which is kind of a

fun little fact. So four of their eight losses this month have come on Sundays, which is very

naturally the day that you and I get together for these. But a good week overall, it's crazy that

we really only have about a month to go in the regular season. And it's playoff baseball is right around the corner.

It sure is.

And I'm not going to fact check this.

So if I'm wrong, you can blame one Stephen Tolbert, my co-host from earlier this

week and our confidant on this podcast.

But Stephen tells me that the Braves now are 10 and 11 on Sunday.

That is hard to do when you're 40 over 500 for the season.
