Welcome, welcome everyone to a Raphael Medina subspecialty episode.

I'm really excited for today's session. Today, the focus is

hepatology. And we have really a fantastic educator here who we'll learn from. So I will introduce him

shortly. My name is Maddie. I'll be facilitating the session. And we have Dr. Elliot Tapper, who will be the case

discussant, and he's an associate professor in the division of gastroenterology and hepatology

at the University of Michigan. He's been on these sessions a few times before, so some of you,

I'm sure, know him as the amazing educator he is. And as our case presenter, we have Hirsch Elhanz, who's an internal medicine resident

at the University of Colorado.

He also happens to be my husband and my co-resident.
