Hey, do you remember episode 394 of this podcast on Solutions Survival Currency?

I bet you don't because that episode was greeted with a collective shrug at the time

and I received remarkably little feedback about it,

although it was really actually the episode that kicked off

the year of Solutions in 2021 and preceded the

uh... the beginning of the Solutions Watch podcast and was the beginning of my solutions the although I've always talked about solutions, but making it the focus.

So kicking it off with solutions, survival currency,

talking about the incredible dire need that we have not just to form communities,

but to form mechanisms of exchange within those communities.

But as I say, that podcast was greeted with a collective shrug and most people probably never

saw it, which is unfortunate.

Because you might remember, if you did see it,

that I opened that presentation with a little funny joke letter,

just something that I made up in 2016.

But first I wanted to start today with a letter that I just uncovered that I think will be very interesting to you.

So I'm going to read this letter to you.

It's from New United Nations HQ Consumer Enforcement Division.

It's to Winston Smith, and it is dated the 17th of February 2025.
