Roland. It is Sunday, August the 20th, and I'm joined as I usually am by Scott Coleman. Scott,

things went pretty well this week for the Atlanta Braves and just think a week ago the sky was falling.

That's right. A good week indeed. Thankfully, it looks like despite what social media might tell you,

the Braves are just fine. Another really strong week. A lot of fun entertaining games too and a lot

to dig into. And Brad, this was kind of blowing my mind a little

earlier. There's only 39 regular season games left this season, which is wild. I don't know about

you. It just feels like this season is flying by and having the best record in the league certainly

helps. But yeah, 39 regular season games to go until

playoff time yeah we are now beyond the quarter pole of the season people always mistake what

the quarter poll is that's one of those euphemism things that no one understands but the quarter

pole is actually the three quarter mark and that's where we are the braced have played more than

75% of

their schedule at this point in time. So less than 40 to go. And yeah, it is kind of weird,

but that's what happens when you get to start getting to late August. Things are getting

interesting. Rostorsorses expand and, you know, 10 days from now, 11 days from now. And it was a good week, as we'll talk about in a second. The Braves go 5-1. They're now 8 and 2 in the last 10.

Their division lead is rather large.

The Phillies play tonight as we're recording this,

so it's either going to be 13 games or 14 games,

and the vives are pretty good.

There were some injuries, not a ton of news.

In fact, we'll just touch on this now.
